Just like the creative minds of Percy and Mary Shelley, the Pittsburgh writers group is a "Meetup" where multiple minds will hold each other accountable to writing the stories that have played in our heads every night before bed. We are the Mary Roberts Rinehart Chapter of Sisters in Crime based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  This group is not the entire membership but simply a gateway we use to introduce new members to another very active Listserve. If you write, chances are someone wants to read it. If they'd want to read it, let's make sure that when they do read it, they want to read more! That means you're going to have to accept some basic realities, the first of which is: not all writers get paid for their work. Personally, I think that's a shame.
